Jason and I just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary last weekend. 5 YEARS!!! So hard to believe. And I am so very happy to say I love this man more than I ever could have believed. I feel so blessed that we found each other not so long ago and just love the life we are building together.
We had such a wonderful day then and had a perfect weekend this year to celebrate. My parents volunteered months ago to take the girls for the weekend for us. We weren't sure what we would do, but when it came down to it, we both happily agreed we would be perfectly content staying home and just being home together. Doing things around town...lots of dinners out and no timelines or distractions from each other. So, Friday night, we hit the new Casino in town. Neither of us being big gamblers, we burned through our $10 limit and left with 6 cents and the satisfaction of having gone. It was quite nice in my opinion as far as casinos go. The buffet there looked incredible, although we had already had dinner by the time we got there.

On our way home we hit the local wine bar. (As wine tasting is our favorite thing of all things to do.) It was a great place. And we got to try some very tasty Riesling and a Chocolate Wine! Mmmm.

Saturday, our date continued with gallery hopping downtown, a wine tasting again, sushi on the patio, a chocolate shop, and to round it out, a Crew soccer game. Best date ever! We had so much fun.
Sunday was brunch and a movie then picking up the girls again to get back to life as we know it. It can be so easy to get lost in the business of life with kids, so this weekend was really appreciated. It was awesome to be able to take time for us. Excited to see what the next five years may bring. :-) I love you J!
