Color
I was starting to feel a little desperate for some color in our world. (Other than pink anyway) So...we got this fabulous ottoman!! I've had my eye on it since November and then we got a flyer in the mail with it featured and on sale! Then I knew it was meant to be in our living room. : ) Not only is it fun and bright, it will also be great for a baby that will one day be pulling herself up to stand. So, we won't have to worry as much about bumped chins and heads. I also found the orange pillow covers at Target for only 5 bucks! Definitely beats buying new pillows - it's amazing what a throw pillow costs!

Life
I've been sitting here trying to think about what I can blog about. It's not coming too easily.
Everything is going good with us. Just a Day-by-Day life. Jason and I are starting to feel like we are getting the hang of this parenting thing...one step at a time. We are absolutely in love with our little girl. She is getting to be so much fun.
I am getting a little tired of being "cooped up" with all the snow. I am so looking forward to taking walks outside, taking advantage of our swimming pool this summer (they make the cutest baby floats,) going to the zoo and just showing Audrey the world. I have been doing a little research on strollers for all of that fun stuff. It's so hard to know what's good and what we'll want/need. We have a little time though. I have also been researching the next level of car seats. Our infant seat's height limit is 26inches and Audrey was 24 and 3/4 two weeks ago!! I can't even believe we'll have to graduate so quickly. Unless she stops growing... People have said to me that babies legs are always hanging off the edge of those seats...but, the way I see it those safety guidelines are there for a reason, right? We usually have to take her out of the seat if we go anywhere anyway, so I don't think we'll miss the seat all that much. I think she will still sleep soundly for the car rides in the bigger seat. (At least I do hope so)
It is hard to believe, but I am back to work full-time next week. It has been so nice easing back into things that it doesn't feel like it will be the end of the world next week. I also feel really confident in our sitter, so that is good as well. The hardest part will be just missing all the quality time with Audrey I'm sure. Luckily, I still have Fridays. :) I do love my schedule.

I'm an Aunt!!!
Congratulations to my brother and his wife...
James Bradley was born this Monday at 10:30 pm. 7 lbs 8 oz and 21 inches long!!
He has had a difficult first couple of days but is doing much better. He looks every bit of perfect. :)
We can't wait to meet him. Hopefully this summer we will get that chance.
