Our first Dr's appointment was not until after we were 8 weeks along. We had to wait an entire month!! It was dreadful waiting, but we finally made it to the big day. Our Dr is very close to where we live now. Her office is actually right behind the hospital that we will be having our bundle of joy, at Mount Carmel St Ann's. We got to meet with the Dr and a nurse, ask any questions and had our first ultrasound. That was by far the coolest thing I have ever experienced. The first thing I noticed was the tiniest, fastest heartbeating. Then we even got to hear it! The Dr says everything looks perfect. Here is a picture of our little bean...
Our official due date is December 5th. Just in time for Christmas. :)
So, the news is officially out and we were able to share our news with a large majority of family this weekend. This baby will be the first great-grandbaby on Jason's side and tenth on my mom's side!
My belly is definitely growing and I am definitely most comfortable at this point in my sweats. I actually think I may just have a week or two left in a couple of my scrubs even. I did buy a few maternity items and have never been more excited to wear anything before in my life. :)

Isn't is crazy how long they have you wait to come in? I remember thinking the same thing!
And how awesome to see your little one! It makes it so much more real!
