A Busy Baby

We had our 16-week Dr visit today. Dr said everything looks great. We got to listen to the heartbeat which was by far the best part. I just LOVE IT!! It is so fast and strong sounding. (165 beats per minute) We have a very active little baby too...he or she kept rolling around while we were listening. I thought I felt some movement in the past couple of weeks which the Dr said after all the movement today she would not be surprised if that was definitely what it was. Normally, by 18 weeks, I'll be feeling it a lot more and hopefully around 20, Jason will get to get in on the action as well. :) Jason did get to figure out what my uterus feels like and where it is today so now he knows exactly where to direct his kisses and words to the baby. (At just 17 weeks, the baby can hear us!)

Our next appointment is in 4 more weeks and that is when we get to find out if it's going to be Simon or a to-be-determined girl's name. We can hardly wait!
