Food Network Magazine

One of the many reasons I am lucky to have Jason is that he is a great cook! I am always impressed with everything he makes. He makes it all look so easy and sometimes doesn't even have to use a recipe. I only wish I could get him to do more of it. :) Check out his most recent creation. We had these delicious Steak Gyro Sandwiches the other night...

The recipe came out of my Food Network Magazine and I probably never would have even thought to try them. Thankfully, Jas did. They were amazing!! The steaks were marinated perfectly and the Greek sauce was beyond delicious. The mix of flavors was just awesome. Before we were even done we were trying to figure out when we could have them again...and who we should have over to enjoy them with us. (It could be you...just ask!!)

The magazine is compliments of my mom. (Thank you again Mom!) She started getting it somewhere around Thanksgiving time and I dove into it. It is such a great magazine!! When I started asking if I could tear out some recipes is probably the time she decided maybe I should have my own subscription. :) I found a great recipe for Minestrone that is a staple for me...even Audrey loves it! I continue tearing out more recipes to try. When I get to try them is hard to say for sure, but man does my mouth water going through this magazine. The next recipe I'm dying to try are "Juicy Lucys" from a place in Minneapolis. Maybe we'll save them for Lucy's first visit here. Even if she won't get to try them quite yet. ;) Although...as I sit here with the recipe across the table from me...I might not be able to wait that long. I am still pregnant.....
