Last Days...

On Tuesday...Audrey had her last full day at the sitter's until I go back to work in September. Audrey LOVES going to our sitter's. Some kids scream when mom leaves...mine screams when I come back to take her home. She knows as soon as we pull onto their road in the morning exactly where we are going and gets SO excited. Especially since summer has hit and the other kids are home from school. The kids are in 1st and 2nd grades and adore Audrey. She's pretty fond of them as well. There is one other little boy the same age as Audrey and recently they had a little 10 week old join them which Audrey has also been so great with. She is LOVING babies right now, which is such a great thing! Here they are enjoying the sun while me & J work.

Wednesday...was my last day of work. I made it! I was making everyone a little nervous these last few weeks, so I know I wasn't the only one breathing a sigh of relief as the day ended yesterday and I had not gone into labor. :)

Today...is our last day as a family of 3. Tomorrow, we will officially be 4. :):):) We are scheduled to be induced tomorrow morning at 5:30 am. Not out of lack of patience, but as a precaution to avoid complications of this one getting stuck. (as we grow big babies) My Dr was on board to induce already last week, but I was still holding out, hoping she could come on her own, and also got to avoid a mandatory amniocentesis to check baby's lungs. I am feeling a little nervous, but confident that everything is in God's hands. We are very excited to have all of our family in to see us and will hopefully be home in time to grill out for the 4th of July! :)
It is also my last day of being pregnant. And while I have enjoyed it and have no complaining to do at all, I am so excited to get my hands on this little one. And I have to say I am also looking forward to doing some things that I haven't been able to do these past couple of months. Especially being able to play a little harder or longer with Audrey...lay on our bellies reading books...go out for sushi...shave my legs comfortably...have a glass of wine with my husband on our newly refinished deck...things like that.  But, first, getting to hold our baby girl! Wahoo!! (And tell you all her name!!!)
Check back soon.....
